俾個難題你諗下 ...
A teacher is engaging in adult education for his 6th year, and everything has been going fine. He is even able to endure day time students' attitude, behavior, values, ... But one day ...
There was a student, female in her late 30's, taking the teacher's evening course and sitting on the first row. She looked a little "different" from all other students, but the teacher didn't pay too much attention to her because the teacher himself is also a strange guy. 3 lectures passed and nothing special happened. Here comes the 4th lecture ...
The teacher notices that the front-row student is late, but he decides to go ahead with the lecture (rule #1 for teachers: no one has the right to be late and still not miss anything!) Lecture goes on for 30 mins, and the front-row student comes in. 30 more mins has just passed - time to take a break. The front-row student is asking the teacher what has been taught - reasonable enough. The teacher explains patiently what has been covered. He talks and talks for 15 mins ... oh! the break is supposed to be only 10 mins long (although students wouldn't mind an ultra long break). So the teacher says to the student, "Let me go through the things with you after the class." The student refuses, insisting that the teacher finish the explanation before the class can continue. Seeing that 25 other students are waiting for the class to resume, the teacher says once again, "Let me go over that with you after class," and decides to discontinue the conversation with the front-row student. She insists. The teacher wants to continue the class. She insists. She is almost in tears. She insists. She insists. (loop 20 times ... holy crap!)
The situation is out of control. The teacher repeats himself again and again and again. Luckily, the student finally stops her whining. Class goes well then.
After class (and the lengthy explanation to that student), the teacher talks to the school office about this, because it has never happened to him in his 5-year teaching tenure. One office lady tells him, "That student is mentally challenged (she actually uses a stronger phrase)." The teacher is like, "WHAT? I'm not looking down on her or what, but she shouldn't be here studying with those 25 students. She needs special care." The lady goes like, "係咁架啦! 學校收左佢! 我地都無辦法架!"
如果講粗口要合時,呢個應該係最佳時機! (yeah! i was the teacher in the story that happened just tonight!)
